Connecting an audio/video device (AMBEO Soundbar | Plus only)
Digital connection
Required cable: HDMI (recommended: at least Premium High-Speed HDMI Cable)
To connect the Soundbar to an audio source (e.g. Blu-ray player, DVD player):
Connect one connector of an HDMI cable (to be ordered separately) to one of the two HDMI sockets (HDMI 1 IN, HDMI 2 IN) on the Soundbar.
Connect the other connector of the cable to the HDMI OUT socket of your audio source.
Observe the settings of your devices (> Preparation).
Video contents with a resolution of 8K cannot be transmitted to the Soundbar. Connect your video device directly to your TV if you want to transmit video contents in 8K. |
Analog connection
Required cable: stereo RCA cable
To connect the Soundbar to a TV or an audio source (e.g. CD player):
Connect the red connector of an RCA cable (to be ordered separately) to the red AUX IN R socket and the white connector of the same cable end to the white AUX IN L socket on the Soundbar.
Connect the other red connector of the cable to the red socket and the white connector of the same cable end to the white socket of the TV or audio source.
